Many people have been experiencing generalised anxiety and feelings of sadness during the pandemic - talking therapy can be a fantastic resource to help us understand and work through some of these confusing feelings that can often be hard to understand on your own. If you would like to explore therapy as an option, please contact me via my email contact page (below)
Seeking therapy can feel like a daunting prospect. Yet therapy can be an immensely rewarding and beneficial experience to help you understand your difficulties and facilitate change. Like many, you may not be sure what sort of support you need. If you are considering counselling or psychotherapy and would like more information, please contact me to discuss your concerns.
I offer a free initial phone call to see how I may be help and if you would like to meet to discuss your needs in further detail. I have been a registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) for over 12 years - I work with adults from all backgrounds from my consulting room close to London Bridge Station. I work in full-time practice as a psychotherapist and counsellor offering private therapy. I am also a registered member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) a professional association promoting psychoanalytic thinking and psychotherapy.
My work is with adults of all ages, offering short-term counselling and longer term, open-ended psychotherapy. I have many years of experience of providing counselling and psychotherapy in different organisational settings. These include working for several years within an NHS psychotherapy department, within a university student counselling service, and employment in various 'talking therapy' charities.
I have extensive experience of working with people who feel 'stuck', isolated and those having difficulty feeling pleasure in some areas of their life - especially within their relationships.
I am experienced in working with:
Destructive patterns of behaviour
Relationship breakdown/ separation
Feelings of emptiness
Difficulties at work or studying
Major life transitions and sudden change
Loss and bereavement
This list is not exhaustive, if you think I may be able to help, please contact me.
My consulting room is easily accessible within the area of London Bridge, Borough (Southwark) and Elephant and Castle and the City of London. I hold professional indemnity insurance and an enhanced DBS check.
I can offer appointments Monday- Friday and Saturday mornings.
I am a recognised and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist with the following Employee Assistance Programmes (E.A.P) and medical health care providers -
